About the Artist
Linda is a native of Windsor, married with two sons and three grandchildren.
Painting and drawing have always been a passion for her. She has a keen sense of colour and loves to explore. She spends most of her free time working with watercolour, acrylics and inks. She is also an amazing cook and musician.

Biography
I have been involved with art of some fashion since my
childhood. Even at the tender age of eight I was privileged to
have an artist as a school teacher who encouraged me with
special porjects during recess. I began with pen & ink
sketches, moved on to oils with the instruction of a friend
then to watercolour.
At present I am enjoying the versatility of acrylics.
My adventure turned to commercialart but I decided not to pursue it as a career. I am intrigued with colour and paint and attempt to capture some of the beauty God has created
Although mostly self taught I have taken many classes and workshops with local and well known artists. I believe"God has given me a wonderful gift of expression through my artistic endeavours - a natural ability.
To me art and music are closely connected . To be
successful in either the emotions must be touched. Visually to ,"capture the moment", in a landscape using light and
colour is one of my goals.
I love to teach children and see them discover the amazement
of colour and design.
Presently I am a member of the local A.R.Association, am
on their website and am in their shows.
My work can also be found in local galleries.
I have sold work across Canada to many friends and
supporters. Thankyou to all.
